Iron Patches

Here is the reversed side of the bag I made from the pants. =)
The patches, I intend to sew on my new pants-turned-shorts, bought them in Divi. =)

From Pants to Shorts to Bag

It took me most of the day to complete this project.
The cargo shorts used to be the white pants given to me by my cousin few years back. Never got around to wearing it because it simply isn’t ideal to wear white pants in Manila —dusty — and cutting it off seems like a waste of cloth. Now that I know how to sew, I cut it to the short pants that it is now and turned the scraps of cloth into a bag. =)

Excellent for lining.
Polyester cotton

Muslin Cloth.
Love this fabric kind for bag linings...

Polyester cotton

Pillow Cases... Bags...

I bought this one for the intention of making a mini dress for myself. =) I am still trying to figure out how to cut the patterns though.

A favorite of mine. =)

I think this will make a good pillow case and blanket.
Polyester, more cotton

Bags, pouch, and the likes on my mind.

Pillow Case... PJs... Blankets...

Bags...

Apron...
I made a dust bag out of this for my curling iron.

This is the one I used for my roll-up case.

Apron... Laundry Bag...

These are made of 100% cotton unless otherwise stated.

My stash of fabric/cloth.

Dora Pillow and Blanket Set

I made this for my 23 months niece. She adores Dora so much!
This is a set, 1 pillow case + 1 blanket of the same material and design.

Make-Up Brush Roll-Up Case

I made this for my make-up brushes since I don't buy from the same manufacturer or by set it is of different sizes and length, thus not all of my brushes would fit in the commercial brush cases. Also, because commercial brush cases are too expensive and not at all meeting my requirements.

Crochet Hook Roll-Up Case

This is my first attempt on sewing.
I was inspired to sew this roll-over case for my crochet hooks, when I stumbled upon a fellow crochet girlfriend’s blog. A good thing, too, because you won’t find any roll-over case in the PH market customized for crochet hooks. Not much market, that is what I think.
It is still quite unfinished, lacking ribbons among others. My needle broke in half before I get to attach it. Due to my busy schedule, I was only able to buy a new one last 5-February at SM North Notions Dept. Expensive, really (PHP 16.75 for 3 needles of a size). I was intending on buying at Divisoria for several sewing items (at a more cheaper price) I need but just did not have time.
Maybe this week, I will be able to finish it.
